“ Delicious! We were a party of 4 for my husband’s birthday. I don’t normally go out for Sunday lunch as it’s usually disappointing. The Duck on the Pond was the complete opposite, the staff were friendly and helpful with menu choices and the food was exceptional, the portions ware generous but no waste (we ate everything). I would definitely recommend this little country pub/restaurant to anyone that enjoys good local food. Bravo! ”

“ Fabulous food in a perfect setting, went for Sunday lunch, food delicious, plenty of everything & extras, service was exemplary, nothing was too much trouble and the children were very well catered for. Prices were more than acceptable, in the current climate & with the high cost businesses are being expected to bear, considering the extra complimentary touches, bottled water on the table, bread & the truffles to finish, amazing! Also most refreshing was no 'mandatory' tip incorporated in the bill which is extremely frustrating these days & creates an awkward situation... I like to receive service/food worthy of my tip first, then gladly leave one... old school! Top marks Duck on the Pond ”
